Battle Town Football club, is firmly behind the ‘Fit for Battle’ project to improve the facilities at Battle Recreation Ground, for the benefit of the local community as a whole.
The Club is working in partnership with Battle Town Council & the Battle Health Pathway project, to provide Battle Recreation Ground with a new pavilion, cycle pathway & skills area, and sensory gardens, all which will benefit and promote the health & well-being of local residents and regular visitors to the site.
Chairman Kevin Terrell shared his thoughts on this exciting venture. “We aim to make a valuable & significant contribution to the ‘Fit for Battle’ project. We have representatives on the Project Working Group, chaired by Councillor Glenna Favell, which reports to the Town Council’s Environment Committee.
It’s a real privilege to be partners in this project. Al l credit to Battle Town Council for their vital co-ordinating work and resolve that continues to ensure Battle Recreation Ground is an attractive leisure venue for people of all ages.
