Taking up running can be daunting, especially if you feel out of shape or unfit. BTFC Runners want to help give people the confidence and skills to become more active through running. Whatever your pace, activity level or experience our friendly and supportive running group will help you take the first steps in developing your activity levels, helping you feel healthier in body and mind.
About our sessions
When: Wednesdays 6.30pm
Where: Battle Baptist Church, Mount Street, Battle, TN33 0EG
Meet in the car park at the back of the church off Mount Joy.
Including warm up and cool down, our training sessions last for about 45 minutes and are suitable for all abilities. After each session we gather for a rewarding cuppa in the Church Hall.
Usually, our sessions are about working on drills to improve strength and endurance. We post the training session planned for each week in our Facebook Group.
You are welcome just to turn up on Wednesday evenings, but if you would like to know more or let us know you are coming, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Couch to 5k
If you are new to running, we regularly hold Couch to 5k courses. Couch to 5K is a running plan for absolute beginners that will help you gradually work up towards running 5km in just 9 weeks.

We often join Park Run either at Bedgebury or Hastings. You can find the dates of these by joining our Facebook group.
